Students travel back in time to learn about the culture, religions, and complex politics of ancient Greece. Aided by this vast library of audio, photographs, clip art, source documents, and video, students present, publish, and communicate their findings about this fascinating time in history. Interactive group projects include creating a travelogue extolling the high points of an ancient Greek city-state; writing from the perspective of imaginary trees in PlatoÕs outdoor Academy; and producing a documentary on the trial of Socrates that explains the class divisions of Greek society.
